Your songs are private by default, securely stored, and shared only when you choose to share them.

Privacy is not just a policy for us. It is part of the product.

Mantra is an AI-powered personalised song creation platform built for emotional gifting.

Our goal is simple: to help people create meaningful songs for the people they love—songs shaped around real moments, real relationships, and real emotions.

We only collect information necessary to help you create, save, and manage your songs and your account.

B. Song Creation Information

To create your personalised song, we may collect:

  • Occasion details (birthday, anniversary, shaadi, etc.)
  • Recipient name

  • Voice preference
  • Song duration preferences

C. Payment Information

For paid purchases, we may collect:

We do not store full card details.

Payments are processed securely through trusted payment partners such as Razorpay and Cashfree.


D. Technical Information

A note on AI training

The personal stories, names, memories, and emotional context you submit are not used to train or fine-tune our AI models.

We may use de-identified, aggregated signals—such as which languages, moods, or durations are popular—to improve song quality and platform performance over time. These signals do not contain your personal inputs and cannot be used to identify you.

If our approach to AI training ever changes in a way that affects your inputs, we will notify you and seek your consent before doing so.


4. Songs Are Private By Default

This is one of the most important promises we make.

By default:

  • Only you can access your songs
  • Your songs are stored securely
  • Songs are not publicly visible
  • Songs are never shared automatically

Sharing only happens when you deliberately choose to share a song.

Your memories belong to you.


5. Sharing & Public Links

When you choose to share a song:

  • A secure tokenized share link is created
  • Anyone with that link may be able to access the song
  • Shared links are not publicly searchable by default
  • You remain in control of when and how you share

Please share thoughtfully, especially when your song includes personal memories or sensitive details.


6. Data Security

We take protection of your songs and personal information seriously.

Our security practices include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
  • Access controls and least-privilege principles for our team
  • Regular security reviews of our systems and dependencies
  • Hosting on reputable cloud providers with strong infrastructure security

That said, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We work continuously to strengthen our protections, and we’ll let you know promptly if a security incident materially affects you.


7. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary.

This means:

  • Your songs remain accessible while your account is active
  • You may request deletion of your songs or account
  • Billing and transaction records may be retained where legally required for tax, compliance, or fraud prevention purposes

We aim to be transparent, not excessive.


8. Your Rights

You have control over your information.

You may request to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your songs
  • Delete your account
  • Receive a portable copy of your personal data and song metadata
  • Opt out of marketing or promotional communications at any time
  • Raise privacy concerns with our support team

You can also withdraw consent for the use of your personal data at any time, and as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done before withdrawal, and may limit our ability to provide some features.

We aim to action verified data rights requests—access, correction, deletion, portability, and consent withdrawal—within 30 days of receiving them.

We believe trust should include control.


9. Children’s Privacy

Mantra is intended for users aged 13 years and above.

Users under the age of 13 should not use the platform.

If we become aware that personal data from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.


10. Content Safety

Mantra is built for meaningful emotional expression—not harmful misuse.

We do not allow the creation of content that is:

  • Hateful
  • Obscene
  • Abusive or harmful
  • Illegal
  • Harassing or exploitative

We may remove content or restrict access where misuse is identified.


11. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate parts of the service, including:

  • Razorpay
  • Cashfree
  • Cloud hosting providers
  • Analytics and performance tools

These services only receive the minimum information necessary to perform their specific role.

We do not allow unnecessary access to your personal information.


12. International Data Transfers

Mantra is built India-first, but some of our infrastructure partners (such as cloud hosting and analytics providers) may process data on servers located outside India.

Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives a level of protection consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law, including through contractual safeguards with our providers.
